American Public Media’s The Splendid Table Wins 2009 Clarion Award

(St. Paul, Minn.) July 13, 2009—American Public Media today announced that The Splendid Table®, public radio’s national food show, has won a 2009 Clarion Award in the Radio Regular Talk or Interview Program category from The Association for Women in Communications. The Splendid Table won a Clarion Award in the same category in 2007 and 2008.

Produced and distributed by American Public Media in Saint Paul, Minn., the two-time James Beard Foundation Award-winning The Splendid Table is a culinary, culture and lifestyle one-hour program that celebrates the intersection of food and life. Each week, The Splendid Table’s Lynne Rossetto Kasper leads public radio audiences on a journey of the senses and leads discussions with a variety of writers and personalities who share their passion for the culinary delights.
