That’s why holiday cooks and hosts all across the country tune in every year to The Splendid Table‘s “Turkey Confidential” on Thanksgiving morning. A holiday tradition in kitchens across the country, the show gives cooks an open line to Lynne Rossetto Kasper and her guests providing “turkey triage” by answering calls and emails live on Thursday, November 27, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., ET on public radio stations nationwide and online.

Some of the culinary world’s biggest stars will join Lynne this year for the two-hour show, offering an impressive background to help listeners navigate the biggest cooking day of the year. This year’s guests include Emmy award-winning television host, best-selling cookbook author and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich, American chef and host of The Chew Carla Hall, and New York Times food writer and frequent Splendid Table contributor Melissa Clark. In addition, humorist and author of “Would It Kill You to Stop Doing That?” Henry Alford weighs in with his amusing and insightful take on etiquette and family dysfunction, a topic sure to make you giggle before the guests arrive.
